CDF: THE ADVOCATE’S APPEAL SATISFIED

Acknowledging professional achievements in our work, we are happy to share good news. On May 4, 2022, Moscow City Court accorded appeals of Criminal Defense Firm Partner Artyom Polovinkin and other advocates on violation of an owner’s rights and reversed the judgement of Basmanny District Court of Moscow to seize property of clients at over 20 m rubles. The court has remitted the matter for further consideration to eliminate criminal law violations.

Artyom Polovinkin has satisfied the Court of Appeal that Criminal Defense Firm client does not own the property to be seized within the criminal investigation. This criminal case is currently handled by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
